Get to Know Animals Great and Small

Hello, I’m Sara, the face behind Animals Great & Small.

My aim is to give you peace of mind, knowing your animals are happy and safe while you’re away.

Animals, especially horses, have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember — from family pets to horses, sheep, goats, poultry and fish.
I first started animal and house sitting many years ago when my son was small, looking after lovely animals and houses all over the country and even in France! Once he started school I built a full time career in Learning & Development but I still kept a couple of local clients that had come to me word of mouth for occasional and annual sits. After a very busy career I am now stepping away from the corporate hustle and with that in mind I launched Animals Great and Small to follow my true passion: caring for animals on a more regular basis.
With years of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for animal welfare, I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. My aim is to give you peace of mind, knowing your animals are happy and safe while you’re away.

When I’m not busy looking after other peoples animals and homes my passions are my own animals, baking (currently into homemade bread) and drawing animals.
